Your running has changed.  Your goals don't necessarily have to.

Menopause Running Check-in

Find out what may need to change in your training now, so you can start making progress towards the results you still want.

It’s very easy to put changes in your running down to age or menopause. Harder recovery, slower paces, training that doesn’t seem to work quite like it used to.

But before you start lowering your expectations, it’s worth working out what has actually changed and what you can do about it.

The free 4-minute Menopause Running Check-in looks at four areas that may be influencing your running right now, shows you what deserves your attention first, and gives you practical next steps based on your result.

So rather than changing everything, pushing harder or simply accepting less, you’ll have a clearer idea of what your running needs now and where to start.

Free. Takes about 4 minutes.

In her words

“

I'd gone from feeling confident in my training to constantly questioning myself. The Menopause Running Check-in picked up on things I hadn't even realised I was doing, especially how much I was comparing myself to how I used to run. It was like someone had put into words exactly what had been going round in my head.

Ever wondered “what the hell is going on with my running?”

You’re still doing the training, but it doesn’t seem to be working like it used to, and it’s hard to know whether to push on, back off, or do something differently.

That’s because how your running feels now isn’t shaped by one thing. Your training, recovery, mindset and what’s going on in the rest of your life all interact.

The Check-In looks at four connected areas to help you see where the friction may be coming from, and what deserves your attention first.

What the check-in looks at

Four areas that shape how your running feels

Your answers map across four connected areas. Together they show where the friction really is, so your next steps actually fit where you are now.

  • Reframe

How you make sense of changes in your running, including comparisons with how you used to run, expectations around performance, and what those changes start to mean about the runner you are and what you're still capable of.

  • Regulate

How well your training responds to what's going on in your body and life, including sleep, energy, stress, recovery, fuelling and changing hormones.

  • Reconnect

How connected you feel to running and the runner you are now, including confidence, motivation, effort, enjoyment and trust in what your body is telling you.

  • Rebuild

How well the foundations underneath your running support where you want to go next, including strength, recovery, managing niggles, appropriate progression and consistency.

I've absolutely loved your results emails. Each one has struck a chord, especially the one about identity. I have this awful fear that my running adventures are behind me and I'll now be 'just a mum' who 'used to run ultras'. It's still who I am, so my current life feels borrowed somehow. Where's the mad one gone? I miss her!

Jules, running coach and PT
Meet your coach

Hi, I’m Jules.

I’m a running coach and PT specialising in working with women through perimenopause, menopause and beyond.

I coach runners from 5K through to marathons and ultras, but the thing I hear again and again in midlife is this:

I’m still training. I still care about my running. So why does it suddenly feel so much harder to know what to do?

That’s exactly why I created this Check-In.

Not to give you another list of menopause rules, but to help you understand what may actually be influencing your running right now, so you can make better training decisions, build more consistency and keep progressing towards the goals that still matter to you.

Because getting older doesn’t automatically mean accepting that running has to feel harder or that your best days are behind you.

How it works

A few things you might want to know

What if your best running isn’t behind you?
